Finally, I got it! This is a 4 song demo by Coroner mastermind and guitarist extraordinaire Tommy Vetterli, done under the name of Clockwork after Coroner split up. Unfortunately this project never took off, because Tommy himself found the music too similar to his previous band, and therefore not original enough to continue. The music is very much in the vein of the latest Coroner effort "Grin", and to some extend the s/t compilation which featured some new tracks. Lots of groove, tasteful songwriting and a bit modern sounding vocals, which give the music a bit of extra punch. The only thing that is missing, in my opinion, are the trademark Vetterli guitar solo's. There are only 2 short leads on this demo, and although they are sweet as hell it still leaves you hoping for more. Nevertheless, this is a great piece of music, and every late-period Coroner fan should give this last dying breath a good listen.
