... And Bootlegs For All

Iron Maiden - Live in Moscow, Russia, 2011

Venue: Olympiysky Sports Palace: Moscow, Russia
 Date: February 11, 2011
 Time: 57:29/61:38
 Size: 2 CDs

Sound: A, AUD, copy from master
Notes: Taper: Jacob "Rocktrades". Equipment: AT943 cardioid -> CA-9100 (no bass roll-off) -> Sony PCM-M10 (Line-in 24bit/48kHz). Lineage: USB transfer to PC -> Adobe Audition v.3.0 (slight EQ applied, normalised, dithering to 16bit/44kHz) -> CDWave for track splits -> Flac Frontend (level 8, aligned on sector boundaries). Jacob's comments: "Despite the poor venue acoustics and some sound issues on the first couple of songs, the recording came out really good. I found a sweet spot right next to the soundboard, where the were no clappers-singers-whistlers, so this makes a very enjoyable listen. Sure, the band sounded sloppy at times, they fucked up the beginning of The Wicker Man (Bruce came up with some funny lyrics), but overall the guys sounded very inspired playing the new stuff. Major highlights include Coming Home, When The Wild Wind Blows and, of course, The Talisman. The latter rocks beyond frontiers!"
