Source Info: Recorded on a Sony MZ-R55 Minidisc recorder with homemade binaural mikes purchased from ebay. In 2018, minidisc masters were transferred to CD-R via a Monster THX i100 stereo analog cable to a Sony RCD-W500C CD recorder. CD-Rs were copied to WAV using EAC. WAV files split with foobar and then converted to FLAC with TLH.
Taper’s notes: This was a great performance by Megadeth, and my first post 9-11 concert. Endo opened. Except for the few seconds lost when I switched minidiscs* this is the entire concert. The bass is heavy in the mix, and there is some distortion, but it doesn't sound terrible. Dave's vocals come through really well. This setlist was totally missing from setlist.fm and there was no mention of this show on db.etree.org, so I'm inclined to think that I was the only taper there. If I'm wrong and someone has an alternate recording, please share it!
If you only download 1 track from this show, make sure to get "Dave cusses out 105.3." It's classic! Also, "Dave talks about black helicopters" is a bit chilling. *I had a little trouble switching minidiscs, so I unfortunately missed the nice acoustic intro to "Use the Man."
Also, I did not record the pre-recorded intro at the very beginning of the show.
My notes: It’s so great to have shows surface almost 20 years later. Recording is indeed very nice, distorted a little here and there, but close-sounding. Nothing to add to the taper’s comments above
