Taper's comments: Finally dug this one out of the closet and transferred it. I'm not a big Megadeth fan, but this venue is about 5 minutes from my house and it was a Friday night. The show almost ended early because some fool threw a full can of beer on stage at what was suppose to be an alcohol-free all-ages show. People snuck alcohol/beer in regardless as the security was lame. The venue is an old school gym. I remember it being very hot and packed tight with people, wall-to-wall. Taping position was about 20 feet back from the right mains. Good thing I brought ear plugs, this show was LOUD. I couldn't belive Megadeth was booked into such a small venue. I had to blink twice when I saw it on the schedule of area shows. I don't like Ryan's as a venue, not sure if there are even shows there anymore or not. This is my only tape from that venue.
The quality is indeed really good! Some floating prolly due to people moshing/moving in front of the taper. Great to have such enjoyable shows finally see the light of day!
