May 2015 Update: After having this gig for ages, I got the master copy upgrade! Taper: Stef. Rig: WM D6 Sony + Realistic P2M. Lineage: Analog Master Tapes > CD-R > Wav > Adobe Audition CC > FLAC.
I'd call it Stef Master Series. The story is that my good ol' mega collecting buddy Chris saw an ad in a local newspaper about a guy giving away his master tapes he did throughout 80-90s. Chris was persuasive and got the guy transfer his Megadeth masters to wav. I got this as 1 wav from Chris, adjusted volume in Adobe Audition, cut out unnecessary stuff and compared to the source of the show I've had for years.
This recording also turned out to be the same source I'd had for ages and it is definitely an upgrade - way better sound.
"Bonjour Paris! Comment alles vouz!" Dave said that some asshole had spraied smth in the Nick's face the day before and the band had to cancel the show but they didn't! Dave dedicated Holy Wars to "all the French soldiers who fought in the Persian Gulf"
