To say I'm really shocked to get this recording in 2006 is to say nothing! I mean it was unsurfaced! And thanks to my Portuguese friend Pedro it's here now. This is a very rough recording of the last Megadeth show on the 1st leg of the US Cryptic tour. It's Tinley Park, and not Chicago as Dave says, and Dave indeed states it is the last show of the tour. I had doubts that this could be a misdated recording of a show that was in Chicago earlier that year and was also broadcast but it is not! The setlist definitely lacks 3-4 tracks, and has some rough transitions from track to track due to radio station cutting out some crowd noise but it's all minor to me, really! The sound is really raw! Dave says the IL fellas should be happy they have such a great FM station unlike many other states. The recording itself was ripped from a tape and has some hissing and cracking. Still it's really great, rare etc etc. Thank you Pedro!
