Correct show: yes, Dave wishes "Happy New Year" to audience before Wake up Dead and at the end of the show. The bill that night (according to internet) was: Black Sabbath, Slayer, Megadeth, Pantera, Soulfly. The venue is a huge baseball field. Hence the sound is VERY distant. Seems like the band plays on another planet. It's quite clear and you can distinguish the lyrics and music, but i'd say it's more for the collectors and who attended the gig that night. Once again it's one of the shows that were shared years after the gig took place (2016 for this one), and despite the quality we, the mega-collectors, are thrilled to have them. Thanks to the taper for sharing this one with all of us.
